The Lord is with you!

This morning 11th May 2010, the Lord gave us the 2 verses below:-

(Heb 13:5-6 NKJV) Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU."
So we may boldly say: "THE LORD IS MY HELPER; I WILL NOT FEAR. WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?"

It is wonderful to know that the Lord WILL NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US.
We all need to know that and experience that. It is OUR GREATEST BLESSING - TO HAVE HIM WITH US!

Let's look at the context of the verse.
Apparently there is the tempatation to be coveteous i.e. to want more; more of what others have and we apparently don't have. That is the disease of wanting more and it always leads to discontentment, unhappiness and all kinds of negative emotions like depression, anger, frustrations, irritations etc.
And one the worst thing is we can become ungrateful - ungrateful for all that the Lord has done for us and is to us.

THE LORD is saying to us, "I AM YOUR SHIELD AND YOUR EXCEEDINGLY GREAT REWARD" Gen 15:1
Are we content with Him?
He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him for us. Are we grateful for Him?

When we are grateful, we can boldly proclaim, "
"THE LORD IS MY HELPER; I WILL NOT FEAR!"
AMEN!!

With His great love,
Ps Khor
